Need to drop the steering column, help!!! 69 charger

I've already pulled my guage package,  but would like to put it back in with the steering column down.  Could you please tell me how to lower the column.  1969 charger

That is simple.  Remove the bolts that go around the colum plate on the fire wall and then remove the 2 or 3 nuts on the studs with the special washers on the upper part of the column that attaches it to the framework of the dash.  Also might need to disconnect your steering column wiring if it is a little tight.

these 2 or 3 nuts with the special washers..................is there a picture of a car on this site with its dash out that would show these studs............................. and if that doesn't work could someone come over here and do it for me!!!!!!!hahhaahaz.
