stupid question....

What good is a forum is you're not supposed to be posting in it? This other forum I went to was pretty much dead, I mean one post maybe every couple days and yet Ive seen up to 11 people logged into the forum at the same time. The forum used to be as lively as this here with people posting about everything. So I make a couple posts one being "why is it so dead in here?" (in the OFF TOPIC section) in the hopes of trying to get people to start talking more, and get talked crap to by one of the mods for making useless stupid posts. (sorta like this one I guess but I need to vent)

I got banned at another forum I frequent because one of the 20 admins says I made a stupid post 4 days AFTER another admin "deletes" it and asks me nicely. Which it wasn't a stupid post it was just in the wrong section and so came off that way. Just a note, one of the other admins apologized for me being banned although they cant do anything about it until the weekly ban is up.

And so on the first forum I mentioned since it was a "sister" forum (same members go to both) to the one I got banned from, I created a post asking members to stop sticking up for me for being banned because I didnt want them being banned. What does the mod do? Tells me to stop my bitching and whining.... So I went through and deleted all most posts and the many replies they had, some good and some bad. Once I did that the newest post was about 2 months old.... Once again why have a forum and let alone an off topic section if no one is going to talk and once someone does, they get shunned by a mod?

Is there just more hostility going around this year? Ive seen it on every forum including this one where flaming someone is becoming rampant. Even more so than past years! Sad part is forums are a dictatorship (no offense Troy) when you come right down to it. Any admin/mod can do whatever they think is correct without consulting the other admins/mods and people have to just take it or leaev the forums. Even when one admin makes a mistake, they don't just act still if they did the right thing. Once again this is not like it is here. In fact this is the best forums I ever go to.

Before anyone mentions yes I know that the admins created the site and say what the law is, it's just a rant.

Ya, I used to spend more time at other sites like Moparts, but they are lock happy over there. Threads mysteriously dissapear over there like a bowl full of Snickers on the porch on Halloween night.
