What's the best way of pressing in/out pistonpins without damaging the piston?

Found out you press them out and warm the rod up in the owen when pressing in. The wife will love it.

There is a tool to remove the pin.You have to support the piston at the pin boss when you press it out otherwise you will crack the skirt. You also have to do the same when you install it even though you heat the rod end.

Don't "press" them in when you heat the rod small end. They should slide in easily by themselves, when the Rod end is heated.

Get your Pistons and Rod small ends "pinfit" first, this will assist in the installation process, and prevent Pin galling later during operation & break-in.

Bob out.
