Dont worry, my 400 is fine

This is a friends mustang. Bent push rod caused the valve to stick open, piston came up....and well its a wrap from there. We pulled the engine last night and now have to find a dirt cheap 351 to get him going again. If anyone has one and is in the NY area please PM me. Just looking for an engine so he can get the car driving again.

Im going to say the cause was over revving. Ive warned him before, im sure he'll listen now  :brickwall: :brickwall:

One word comes to mind.....OOOOPPPPSSSSS.  Sorry to hear that happen.  Anytime there is engine failure, I cringe.  More so now that I just bought a house and have absolutely no money to put into my car if this type of thing should happen. :-\
