Hello,

I have a Carter High Flow Fuel pump on my 440.  While the car is running it stays around 6.5 PSI when I shut the car off you can gradually see the pressure drop to zero, this takes about a minute. Is this normal or do I assume I have a leak in the system?  I see no place I have a fuel leak the car starts no problem I do not appear to be sucking air through the line.  Thanks in advance, I am just curious if this is normal.  Have a good day!

oldschool

that is normal,it will bleed back down unless you have a check valve in the system. you dont need one.
