Well it looks like Farve might be traded to Tampa.  I am a life long Packer fan and i am not upset that he is leaving Green Bay.  Time to move on with A-Rodge.  I just hope A-Rodge doesnt throw an interception to the Vikings in the first set of downs on Monday night Football.   :icon_smile_big:

He'll just fumble it on the first play then get picked off in the 2nd series.   Go Vikes  :2thumbs:

i thought that would be something when he was thinking about going to minnesota. man, that would've been a kick inthe nuts for green bay. i dont understand it though. your older, filthy rich, still have your brains and body somewhat intact, 17 good seasons, going out on top of it all.    now you have a chance to get hurt, lose badley and whatnot. oh, and go vikes!

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

When this whole thing started, I wondered why they did not bring him back. Fight for the starter job against Rodgers. To me, it kinda showed that the Pack don't have to much faith in Rodgers. To be the best, you gotta beat the best. If he couldn't beat out Farve for the starting spot, then he shouldn't have it.

By the same token, Farve should have just stayed retired. Hell, the offer was up to about 25 mil to stay retired and do Green Bay promos and be treated like a God for the rest of your life. He wants another ring, and he isn't going to get it in Tampa. He wanted to go to the Vikes. When he found out that was never gonna happen, he should have just dropped the whole coming out of retirement thing.

He should have learned something from Elway. He went out on top and stayed out.

I will say one thing. If Rodgers screws up, Green Bay management is going to look like a bunch of idiots, and Farve will still be treated like a God in Wisconsin, if that is anything to brag about PT. :D

Try the Jets.

My only concern is the Jets dumping Penington and the Chiefs picking him up.  :slap:

You call throwing an ill-advised INT (as he does way too often, just wing it up there) in the NFC Championship game to kill your chances of going to the Super Bowl, "going out on top"?

Maybe that's why he un-retired. I wouldn't want my last play to be listed under the "INT" category either.
