tti exhaust tips

[1970RT]

I need a complete exhaust system for my 70 RT.

I am looking at a TTI system.  How close are their tips to being correct for a 70 charger?

They list these tips as "For your `68-`69 Barracuda, 70 Dart or Charger applications.
Designed to slip over tailpipes for better flow." but I dont think the original factor tips for a 70 charger were the same as a 68 barracuda are they?

TTI aren't factory correct.   They make a more performance oriented system.

Accurate LTD is more suited to factory correct.

Gardner is concours correct.

None of them are "cheap".

As far as the general look of the tip, ya they are correct, but thats about it. TTi is top notch and if you arent looking for 100% factory looking then you will be fine just fine.

I used a TTi 2.5" system with Acurate tips.  A bit of cutting and grinding but they turned out pretty good.

There is a thread on here somewhere where I posted some photos of the install.

My 3" tti sewer pipe ends w/ a set of Accurate tips.  And they are that, "accurate".

We used a band at the joint with the tightening bolts & nuts on top out of sight.

Accurate tips are the way to go . i have them on several of my cars . Rene
