Thought Id bump this. The show that I did this for is actually going to be on July 22-23 on DIY Chanell 111 if you have dish Network.

I did this this almost 2 years ago, sold the ca 1 yaer ago and I will finally get to see the show . I still havent,so I would say its about time.

P.S. This is not the same as the show HotRod TV did on Bullitt.

Very cool.  Is it on both days I take it?
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

I think the first day is the 3 episodes where they cover the Mustang build, and then the 23rd is the 1 hour finale where we go out chasing around.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Can't wait to see the show; I am restoring a factory black 68 and can't wait till it is done.

I'll add my Bullitt "check mate" stats I use when talking about the movie with Mustang guys;

1968 MUSTANG GT                                           1968 CHARGER 440
390 cubic inches                                                 440 cubic inches
325 horsepower @4800 rpm                                   375 horsepower @4600 rpm
427 foot lbs torque @3200 rpm                              480 foot lbs torque@3200 rpm
0-60 mph;  6.3 seconds                                        0-60 mph;  6.0 seconds
top speed  120 mph                                              top speed 135 mph

As you can see the Charger wins hands down every time.

The article referred to earlier is called "The greatest car chase" and is written by the guy who put the 2 cars together for the movie; he is obviously a Ford guy, but he says he couldn't believe that even after they had heavily modified the Mustang, the chargers which were bought right off the dealers lots "still ran circles around McQueens car"; he then describes how they handicapped the Charger to keep the cars close during filming. Definately a cool read!

What if one doesn't have the Dish Network?? Will it be on any other cable channels?
