My brother and I took our cars to our first car show on Saturday and had a great time.  We entered the Early Iron in Alamosa, CO.  It's a big show for our little area, and it drew 352 cars this year.  It was a great time and I thought I would post a couple of pics.  I didn't have a chance to get a lot of the pics I wanted as the memory card in my camera went south on me, but here are a few of the Mopars:

My brother's 68 Fury 2 door post:

I pass through that area in late July almost every year and usually there is a car show in Del Norte or Monte Vista (can't remember which), ever been to those? The shows are usually just setting up when I pass through so I never get to see them.

Here's a pic of a Cobra gathering in Creede Colorado and the 2nd is my car at Cucharas Pass Btween Trinidad and La Veta.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

Nice pics  :icon_smile_cool:

I wasn't aware of the shows in Monte Vista or Del Norte...I will have to check into them.  I have been trying to get my Charger into the Early Iron for three years, and this was the first year that everything lined up to make it possible.  I like the picture at Cucharas Pass...that is a pretty area.  They have a small show in Salida every summer, which is closer to me than Alamosa, but I haven't made it to that show yet.  The Early Iron just draws a lot of very diverse rides.

You'll have to let me know next time you pass through the area...maybe we can cruise our Chargers together  :2thumbs:

Nice looking cars there, thanks for the pics!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

It'll probably be awhile before I take the Charger through there again. However, I came through Sat. morning in my POS econobox. It turns out the show is in Monte Vista. I came through about 10:30 AM and decided to stop for a couple of pics because they had Hwy 160 diverted through a residential area due to a parade. There wasn't too many cars yet, but the red GTX in your pics was there. I think some of the cars might have been in the parade. It was definately a huge event, there were swarms of people there, probably doubled the towns population. They also had a carnival going at the same time.

The last pic was when I was leaving town, this guy was pulling these cars on to his car lot. I don't think they were for sale though.

P.S. I parked next to Safeway, which I haven't been in one since I was a kid, as they closed down in my area a long time ago. It was like stepping back in time to the 70's!! The only difference was the registers and the food. The food coolers/freezers, floor tiles, colors, smells, everthing was the same as I remember!!!
