1973 remote mirror

I was wondering if the cable assemble for the remote mirror can be replaced?
If so, Where can I buy it?

There was a post a whiile back with pictures of someone doing it...  It didnt look fun!  Anyway, I may have a mirror I would sell if you need parts - i'd have to check so PM me if you want me to look for one.

Same here...think i have an extra remove driver side mirror somewhere i would sell if you need one and Charger1973 does not find one for ya.

I just wish I could figure out how to get mine installed back in. Man, I cut me forearms and hands all up trying to get that damn cable where it goes, or at least where I think it goes. I let the cable just sit in there and it go all stuck up  by the window.
They must have had some Chinese in the assembly plant when they installed those damn remote mirrors.

I have looked everywhere for replacement mirrors.
My car did not have passenger side but it would be nice to have one.
The fricking chrome shop cut my cables on the driver side to be able to polish it.
The mirror looks great, To bad it's the cables that hold the glass to the mirror.
I have tried to clamp the inner cable togather for the remote function and then put a bridge to the  outer cables so the glass would stay in and the mirror would work.
It ain't happining.

Checked pg classic.
They don't show a mirror for 73 charger.
They do have a lot of E body mirrors.

I will have to buy the driver mirror but do I really want to spend $205.00 for a passenger mirror.
