Not yet, but my charger is going on the jig this friday or saturday.  I wanted to do it sunday or today but the shop got busy.  This weekend will be the perfect time cause everyone is going camping and stuff and we don't race til sunday.
I'll pull out my apron and stuff and then just hang one if I have enough time and snap a pic for you.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

poppa

Cool, I'll be waiting. :drool5:

What's up??? Before the new fenders came out everyone was posting about waiting for them. Now I am wondering how they fit and nobody has hung one yet? Or are they taking that long to fit?? :hah: :hah: :shruggy:

I'm interested in seeing pics of the inner folded edge along the brace that runs along the door side edge.

mikepmcs

My bad, someone actually hung one on a 68 and I thought you had seen that one, that is why I didn't hurry.   I've hung mine on my 69 and I just painted it over the weekend.  The fit is very nice, it's my car that needs help.

I'll take pics for you very soon, just not tonight.

Mikepmcs, current pics of your ride look sweet. I don't remember if I said it before but, glad no one was seriously injured. After I get po'ed ,I usually realise it could have been worse. How did the new fenders bolt up? Lots of fitting or ???Good luck,Poppa....

I just got my fenders from AMD for my 69 Charger and they look sweet although I won't know until I put them on on how well they will fit and that might be another year or two, I am looking at buying the full quarters in the near future after I sell my yearone partial quarters that I have had for awhile, I guess all it takes is money.

Mine come back from the painters Friday and go on the car next week. I will post pics of the install on the 'my garage is a mess ' thread then.

OK, i just hope you test fit them thoroughly.Painting any body parts before installing is a recipe for disaster.Any fenders usually need to be tweaked, pryed, shimmed etc to fit properly.Just be prepared for repainting or touch up because of chips, cracked paint. :Twocents:

My 68 passenger fender from AMD fit great, just had to build it up evvvverrrrr so slightly (like literally like less than .0125 inches) to match a faint bodyline at the bottom. And there was a ding from shipping but other than Im 100% satisfied. There's actually been a couple threads with pics too, dunno if you've seen them or not :shruggy:
