Well its also missing the luggage rack that is supposed to be on the car according to the break down of the codes listed. I would find it odd to see a car with a stripe and a luggage rack though. Most of the R/T's I've seen over the years with the luggage rack had the V88 option, which gave you the R/T badges instead of the stripe.

Also note its a car with a 22" radiator core support, which would make for a good cruising car due to it having to have the 3.23 rear gears then.

All in all not a bad looking car, but not perfect by any means. I find it hard to believe that they really think they would be getting $59K for the car.

I`ve been to both of their showrooms quite a few times. Their prices are truely unrealistic. I would suggest a personal inspection of any car they have for sale. I can easily pick out over a dozen issues on that car just by looking at the pics. If they want all the money for it, then the car would have to be correct and not need several thousand more dollars to make it right. One of the best cars I saw there this past spring was an original paint 383 4 speed 69 Road Runner that looked like it hadn`t been messed with and purfumed up. Again, the price was on that car was unrealistically high at $34K...It was a solid car that when you added in the cost of restoring it made it "no deal" to me.

A 440 69 R/T with a 22" radiator??  I've never seen that before.  Is that possible?

Definatly possible, my 68 R/T has a 22" radiator, only difference is I had mine changed to a 3 core.

I was holding back on saying anything negative about it, but....  We all know what surprises I got with my car when I bought it site unseen.  I've learned a lot thanks to this site and I can tell you for sure it looks o.k  until if you dig into the hood,  so very much needs to be done to bring those prices.  It just reminds me of my car which gave me the impression things were just slapped together in any manner to roll it out and sell it.  It took a lot of money and time and serious frustration to get my car engine compartment close to original as possible without going through a divorce, home forcloser or heart attack.  I made it, and I'm a better person for that. I'm  not sure ones Hobby is supposed to be such a growth experience, is it?   :icon_smile_wink:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Its not all that uncommon for them to have the 22" radiator, just not something that is seen every day. I talked to Chris about this not too long ago, considering that I had like 4 or 5 500's that I ran across in a row that had 22" radiators. Before that I only had a handful that I'd seen.

The car is good looking though, and being that its a St. louis car makes it all the much rarer. Not something that most people would care about though.

Seems like most the Chargers I see are made in St. Louis? :shruggy: LEON

Depends on what year Charger your talking about. 69's not so many, 70's all of them.

Can you buy a copy of it for less than they're asking?
Can you pay someone to build you a copy of it for less than they're asking?

If not, then their price is 100% realistic.
