will a 1967 383 fit in my 1972 satellite.my satellite has a 318 in it now.if a 67 a good year to chose since there is no low compression crap?ALSO NEED TO KNOW

what do i need to mount the engine in there?like what does it need to be good and mounted in there?

oh and is $250 with a 727 tranny a good deal for this 383.he says it ran a couple years ago?

oh and it comes with a 4 barrel cast iron intake,headers,distributor,starter,alternator,trans comes with trans converter.

only downfall is 2 intake bolts are rounded

67 383 should fit right in,.. as that body came with 383's in 71.. i would hear it run before spending $250 on it. that's usually what i pay for $440 cores with 727's, assuming they need rebuilt.. i would assume that one would need a rebuild as well, otherwise the engine probably would already be in a car running. i wouldn't take the chance without hearing it run

youll need the engine mounts for a big block also.    you guys that are getting 440s with 727s for 250 bucks are getting a smokin deal.    it seems a rebiuldable 727 core is worth 50-100 bucks,  if i needed one.  i think 250 for all that is being offered is a decent deal for rebiuldable stuff.

67 -72 should be using the same mount assumiong they are still on the engine
