72 cuda manual trans will it fit?

I just bought a 440  and manual trans out of a 72 cuda has most linkage too. Want to put it in my 69 charger will it fit? any mods? owner thought trans tail shaft was shorter, can i just have a longer drive shaft made?

Look at http://www.slantsix.org/articles/4-speeds/ODA833fourspeed1.htm to learn all about the 833. As the 'Cuda is an "E" body it should bolt right in.

the trans is the same length & will bolt in But the shifter mount is in the wrong place & needs a different mount pad to move it forward unless you want to modify the floor & have the shifter between the seats like the E body & 71-74 Chargers
