Removing the hardshell seat backs in a 1st gen?

How the hell do they come off?

There should be two screws on the very bottom edge (where it wraps under somewhat).  Then, pull out on the bottom a little and slide it up a bit, and it will release from the two "catches" inside near the top.

Actually, remove the 2 screws from under the seat back, pull out the bottom part a bit, and then pull the entire hard shell down from the seat...not up...it will come out of the 2 catches and that's it.
