Yikes!  They often like to bury the forks through the side of cars too.  :flame:

A yard near me likes to harpoon every car they get. They say it keeps people from even inquiring about buy a whole car. They make more money parting it out despite ruining a few doors and interiors. Too many title issues maybe?  :shruggy:

I hate seeing damage to cars in the junkyards too. I've also cursed a few places when I'd come across a part I needed that was obviously in good shape before it got to the yard. But in defense of the junkyards, time is money no matter where you work, so what difference does it make whether it's a junkyard or some other business? What are they supposed to do, wrap the forklift blades with pillows? There's planned waste & damages in most businesses, so a few parts that aren't usable is no big deal to them. In a lot of cases you can't buy a car from a junkyard anyway, so parting & scrapping makes sense from a money standpoint. Less headaches too.

That thing looks kinda like a Bat-Charger with the taillight panel bent like that.
