just pulled a motor out of a 70 dodge charger 500 ...i believe it is a 383 magnum....some numbers on passenger side 2468130-8..how would i know if this is the original motor...thx.......

That is a 383.  IF it is a 70, there will be a machined pad on the right side of the block just above the oil pan rail that will have the last 8 #'s of the VIN stamped into it.  Probably will have to clean the area off to find it.
