Seems like I am in a downperiod in the project :'( the dashboard isn't ready yet after beeing painted 25 times due to strange reaction between
the primer and the paint, the new alu radiator doesn't fit without cutting in the radsupport, the old doormirror was evidently not the original one and I didn't check that before body/paintwork so now I have 2 nice extra holes in my door when the new mirror is installed and the carpet, a Trimparts
carpet from a local speedshop fits like a pair of size 48 pants on somebody with size 34. :brickwall:
Lucky I have the chally to work off my frustration on, breaking off things is sometimes good for an upset mind.

I would have no problem reusing the old one but the remote cables are brooken and I don't know from which model it is
so I can't order another one. There's a pic of it in the body and trim section. Otherwise it's welding the holes and painting the complete door.

the cables between the two are completely different?  is there no way to make the cables on the new mirror to fit the old mirror?  do you have any kind of a part number on the old one?

Propably a repop mirror, no numbers or anything. Did send a pic of it to Peter at PG classic if he maybe recognice it. The cable system
is the same but I don't know how they sit together in the "joystick".

I know the shipping and the wait would suck, but if you can't find any other options you can send them to me and I'll do everything I can to get the old one up to spec and working correctly for you with the new cable assembly.

Freshend up my old console although I had bought a polyester repop one, I found mine fitting better so if anybody needs a aut console
you can have it for shippingcost.

I have some great news, my dashboard is back from blasting so now I can paint and install it and then it's firing up the stroker. :icon_smile_big:
Started to fit the console with the new toplate and the other trim. Looks good so far but my old trim was chrome/black while these are
chrome/silver. :scratchchin:

Did some installations in the enginebay. After some adjustments the aluradiator got in place together with the hoses, batterytray + cables and ecu.
The Milodon oildipstick needed a homemade bracket to keep it in place which the dipstick for the tranny didn't, didn't thought it would be a good idea
to bolt the dipstick to the innerfender. :icon_smile_big: Since I have a 1-wire alternator with regulator I will not need the stock voltageregulator.
