Thanks, I guess the rather low torque is due to that there is some "selfclampingforce" () or am I thinking wrong here?

I've never used loctite on the u-bolts and never had one come loose.

Per this is another one of the engineering details Mother MoPar worked out! Why 40lb for 71/4 axle and 45lb for others? Why 10lb for the little bolt and nut in the middle of the spring? Why 125lb (!) for the front bushing bolt/nut but 30lb for the front mounting plate's nuts? Your doing a super job on that car did you give it a nick name yet?

I do happen to be Swedish even though Norway is the neighbour country. Also like shorter names.

The Charger is ready on the underside Exhaustsystem, new deeper oilpan for the tranny and the lines for the trannycooler
is all in place. Now I have to finnish up the dash and we are ready to fire up.

Looks great. Your really making it a thing of beauty. I would throw those jack stands out before something bad happens though.

Wow, that is a dang nice looking car. Not many people in my neck of the woods take the time you did on this car. It's awesome to see someone take so much pride in what they're building. My charger is going to be a long haul of a resto, but the second gen charger is definitely worth it. Again, car looks awesome man.

I have TTI 1 7/8" headers, TTI 2.5" X-pipesystem with Dynomax Ultra flow mufflers.

I guess I have to postpone the startup plans a little bit, I realizied that I'd better install the doors before the dash and by doing that
the doors should be completed with glas and everything to have the correct weight for adjusting the position (thanks Brian).
Before they can go in I need to paint the inside black and fix my doorhinges, hopefully I can manage this this week.

Fixed my doorhinges today, new bushings and pins. Big thanks to Randy (lisiecki1) for providing me with the drill and reamer.
Will paint the second door tonight so I can hang them later in the week.

By the way where did you get the rebuilt kits from?

No problem Koen I bought the kit from Paddock, it's a MP kit. Don't know what they sell on ebay, surely it's cheaper.
Sixpack speedshop also have and with those ones you evidently don't have to drill.
