EGR or NON EGR intake

So my 318 has the egr and stock intake manifold, i got an edelbrock performer intake non egr for 50 bucks. My question is it easy to take the egr system out and. I just want to make sure that when i take the old manifold off with egr and i put the edelbrock non egr on I dont run into problems. If you could help me figure this out i would appreciate it, this is my first time doing anything like this.

The short answer is that it's easy, the long answer is that you will need to invest some time.  To make it run it's best, you can count on doing some other retuning, especially carb and timing.
