My dad almost did that this weeked. We had the camper we were pulling to the fair, and my dad forgot money for some diesel. 

My dad has a jacked up 1997 F-350 Power Stroke, on big ass tires. The camper just barely missed the top of the overhang.

Maybe it is a good thing he did hit it. If it is 5pm Friday evening and you have a few customers under it and then grandma hits one of those pillars with her Buick and  Hell a high wind may have done It. Also looks like it was a fairly new bank so may have been inevitable sooner or later.
