What colour were the floor mat covers? I'm mainly looking for the Daytonas..... :shruggy:

You mean the paper covers that they came to the dealership with? They were random, whatever they had in the box, red or blue.

Floor mats weren't really sold much from the factory, but it was possible.  There are several sales codes that reference floor mats, but the only applicable sales code for a '69 Charger/RT/500/Daytona was C92, which is the "Accessory Floor Mat". 

Whatever that was, it was not any different for a Daytona than a regular charger.  I have no idea if it the mat was clear, black-only, or color-keyed.  My guess is that the mats were sold more often as an accessory at the dealerships.

the fury had/ has them they were originally clear i think. they are yellowed from age now.  :2thumbs:

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

I agree with Geno. More were probably sold through dealers than the factory or the dealer tossed them in for free with a new car. They were available in a variety of colors. I suppose you could use either the clear or a color coordinated mat and be 'correct'.
