No more beater since I sold my F-150 last year. I have to drive my 2004 Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.7 Hemi. I think the best MPG I've gotten so far is just under 17 highway on a long trip. I bought it to tow with, but would like to get something to take to work & not have to worry about when I go to the store or someplace. Better MPG would be cool, but I only drive 3.5 miles to work so it's not a big deal.

Here's a crappy shot at work with a cell phone.

What he sez. My 4Runner is a 1985, 4cyl, 5spd, 246k and counting. My other driver (off and on) is my girlfriend's 1983 Mercedes 380SL vert - she calls it her Priscilla Presleymobile -  it's a blast to drive and that little v8 packs a decent punch.

The two on the left!  :D

Gee.... must suck to be you.....

Mine is a more poor man's pedestrian ride- a 98 Dodge Intrepid ES- 3.2 L V6, regularly gives me around 24mpg on my daily 70 mile round trip trek to work, and it's paid for, so it suits me for now..... the Hemi Ram used to be, but I quit driving that daily when gas hit 3 bucks a gallon 'cuz it was too expensive to drive every day... who knew???  :eyes:
