I was just watching some rerun footage from this year's Scottsdale B-J and saw these.  I really dig them.  What kind are they?  They look similar to the old Hurst style wheels.

I don't think so.  The announcers said that they were billet.  I don't know if billet was even around back in the day.

Looks like they're patterned after the old Shelby style wheels, but definitely seem larger in diameter. Probably at least 17's.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That looks like them.  If not, then it's pretty close!  It's a good looking wheel regardless.  Good find  :2thumbs:
