HOW THE HELL DO YOU ROUTE THE SHIFTER CABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have hooker competition headers so it makes the job a lil bit more difficult,i m going to get some sort of heat insulation thing as well.
i ve mounted  the floor shifter and changed the linkage on the gearbox end,but if i try to put the cable through the old shifter hole it would be too restrictive and would possibly kink the cable.
obviously i ll have to drill a hole in the firewall, but where?
thanks

no matter,i copied 1bad68s idea and used the factory linkage with a fabricated rod instead of a cable.drove it tonight and it worked a treat.
i thought the cable idea was a disaster waiting to happen!
