 I stopped over at a friends house this morning to check out his 70' Bee, his friend with a 70 Charger 500 was there....., it was like the worlds smallest car show.

Forgive & correct me if Im wrong, but I thought the rear window of a 500 sat flush with the body and was not recessed into the body like normal Chargers. Somewhat like the 80's Monte Carlo Aerocoupe. If so, your buddy is in for a shitty surprise.

Im also drunk right now, so I might not be thinking straight. Ha Ha!

Wiat a second, I just found this on allpar.com

"The Charger 500, with a Coronet grille and a flush rear window, was built by Creative Industries; 500 were sold in accordance with NASCAR rules. The main reason for the Charger 500 was to eliminate aerodynamic problems..."

that information is correct for 69 500's not 70

Yep, the 500 in '70 was just a trim level trying to cash in on the exclusivity of the '69.

Well me ignorance was not the result of being drunk (which I am again...hey, its Saturday, LOL) thats the beauty of this site...also teaching me new things. I wll drink another Corona in honor of the site.
