Hey,
I got this code (v1f) off my 1971 dodge charger . The code for the hardtop is (v1x) Does anyone know if the (v1f) is for a factory sunroof???????????? I just found this car in a tractor trailer box ,,,, it's been there 25 years

Thanx

No, M51 is the sunroof code.  And on most sunroof cars it won't be on the fender tag.  V1F is for a green vinyl top, F is the color code.

any ideas where the code for the sunroof can be located????????

V1X is a black vinyl roof. V1F is a green vinyl roof. They were all hardtops.

The M51 sunroof code I believe, is on the broadcast sheet.

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

In '70, the VON started with a "M"...

is there a hole in the roof?

NTL looks like a well optioned R/T

No M51 on the fender tag in 71. However the VON will tell you if it had a sunroof or not from the factory. Unless you find the broadcast sheet, it won't say M51 anywhere other than there or the window sticker.
