A guy in Denmark is selling his numbers matching '68 charger 383 RT...

He's asking roughly 60.000$, is it a good deal, should I go buy it?  :smilielol:

Here's a link for the ad

AN R/T would have come factory with a 440 or 426

so if it's a 383 it either got the wrong motor installed or it's not a real R/t
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

I know, that's why I put up the laughing smiley..  :2thumbs:

I dont know if it is a good deal or not, but it is not as bad as you guys in US might think. Remember that whatever you buy in US, you have to pay 25% sales tax off. :brickwall:
That means that a car bought in US for 45 K, shipped to Denmark, will cost app 60 K by the time you get the plates on it. (same thing here in Norway)
I cant see in the ad that he claibs it is a matching # R/T , but i see the grille har R/T on it. Maybe it is a matching # non R/T ??
I am not in to that anyways, so it doesnt matter to me!!

Since we only live once, and all this is not just a dressed rehearsal, but the real thing............ Well, enjoy it!!!!

Well, I can tell you guys a few things because I owned that car a few years ago. It's not an R/T. It's a 383 car, and when I had it, it had the correct motor in it. It may not be worth what there asking but that is one of the best running/driving chargers you will ever find ;)

Oh yea, some of my old pics. 2 back up my statement  :icon_smile_cool:

I bought it in that shape for $10,000 also, talk about a deal  :yesnod:

Cool, glad you chimed in.. I wrote the guy a mail, before you replied in this thread..

He told me that it was a mistake, and that he'd change the ad.. He told me the same you're telling, so I do believe it's the same car...

Cool car btw, hope it goes to a person that will take care of it..

Jeez, you guys need bigger license plates over there. :o Do the cops have eye trouble in Denmark?

They have all sorts of trouble, so I'd be amazed if eyetrouble wasn't one of them...  :smilielol:

No seriously, I don't know why they have to be so big, as you can see, the front licenseplate is a bitch to place, so it remains totally visible..
Ahh well, the joys of our passion...  ;)

I think if it's anything like Germany and others I've been to, it makes sure the speed and traffic cameras get a nice purdy picture to mail you with the ticket.  :police:  Short skirts, tears, and "I support..." fraternity window stickers can't help you get out of them then.
