Awesome story & pics. It's way cool that the 'ol girl is staying in the family, too. :2thumbs:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

ONE major WARNING! First Generation cars are ADDICTIVE!!!! I have a 66 and NOW I want a 67, Red on red 383 4-speed!!!! If I could just find one I can AFFORD!!!!!!

Good Luck and remember, those cars have their OWN set of peculiarities! It has a DEFINITE learning, and guard the TAILLIGHT with your life!!!!!!

I was wondering why while I was putting the extra 67 parts up for sale I was getting a lot of inquiries about the taillight assy.  I almost was about to throw it out because to me it was in bad shape and I listed it that way and was amazed it got bid on so much when some of the nicer stuff wasn't.  Maybe the 67 will get some good interest when it goes up because it's not so pretty either  :icon_smile_big:.   Anyway nice story and the 69 Superbee I had a while back had been repaintd that same color by the original owner.
