Go to leave tonight in the old 74 Dodge truck. Fired up the 440 and heard a pop. Thought it was odd but started to back out of the drive. No power steering. So I pull back in and pop the hood. Get out to see whats up. Poor kitty cat had been up inside the truck and got caught in the belts. Its laying there still alive as my Sheltie is watching from a few feet away on the other side of the fence.  Cat gives up the ghost and I got lucky and had to rehang the belt. NO bent fan or anything.Lots of fur inside and little scratch marks on the greasey oil filter...........flashlite and shovel and no more cat!

Next time don't capitalize the entire noun ("Cat" would have worked better, and probably garner more views!  ;D) I envisioned a tug of war competition.... I have a couple of cats (and a dog, lots of fish, hermit crabs and possibly getting a horse) so I sympathize with its owner (who must be wondering where the hell his kitty is  :P ). Anyone try it with a 383?

I actually wished it would have been the neighbors cat. Its always walking on or laying on everyones new cars. It even hopped in the open window of my poor old 74 Truck and took a dump one time in it.  This cat didnt have a collar on and I had never seen it before in the hood here. I always thought maybe this could happen in the winter with the block heater plugged in but never would have imagined it in summer time. Truck had only been  parked 30 minutes or so. I would have thought the heat would have kept them out during the summer.

Thats how it goes I guess. Was not a good way to go thats for sure.

Same here. When I read 1974 Dodge Truck, is thinking you were going to swap a CAT diesel into it!  :RantExplode:

Would make a lot of power though... :scratchchin:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

man, harsh,  poor little cat    :-\    :'(     better than death by coyote at least, common in over develping places around here

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.
