why can't i find this seal

  i've spent hours trying to find this seal and i can't find it . it's the last component i have to order . the yearone cat  confuses me . i think i have the wrong name for it too . can you guys send me some links. thanks Rene

I have that part in front of me.Took it out of the box so it would flatten out.Do you think I can find the box now that I need it.
I looked at the year one page also no luck.The only possible one is what year one calls -hood to cowl- application is 69 daytona and 70 charger only.
How about calling them and see if that should say -hood to bumper(or nose)-.

The part number that I ordered for mine from Year One was AO697, 1969 Daytona and 1970 Charger bumper to hood seal. 
I haven't looked at mine so I can't tell you anything about the quality.

Yup....hood seal for 70 Charger & Daytona only....should be readily available

The seal might be out there, but what about the steel rail it sits in that's riveted to the nosecone? If you don't have that, you'll need to talk to some of those '70 guys.. There should be some good used parts out there from '70 bumpers................

I was planning on making one when I get to that stage.

it's not . it's L shaped . with a  metal strip inside it . for $25. it's not worth making one . today i ordered the hood pins , bumper too hood seal and fender to nose seals . I'm done ordering   . i ordered them from Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge . great prices , combined all the shipping for me. looks like good stuff we'll see when i get it and i got all the parts back from the media guy .now comes the hard part , assembly. Rene

 Rene, I just got my pin kit from Frederick. Quick shipping and nice pieces. I am buying the Charger sail panel emblems if they will combine shipping. I popped off an e-mail, and am waiting for the reply. They seem to be on the up-and-up! Good luck with the seal. ( I used the original on my '70). Rick

I'm interested in how well those nose to fender seals work out. I mocked my nose up with the dayclona seals and they fit perfect. Hope the ones that you bought fir as well.

   can't believe i'm 50 . man , thats old .       thanks Larry, i wish you could be  here too  . i hang with a hell of a crew , we still party hard , even at 50. 


those seals look good from here . they got a phone # too . i hit one auction, just to be able to treaten him with a neg rating if i had to  through ebay. then  i just added everything else over the phnoe . Jeff seems like a nice guy . Rene
