That guy must be rich to have all those toys. Must be nice.  Why is a 74 Road Chicken 5 grand more than a 72 Rallye ?  I don't get it.  :scratchchin:

whats a road chicken?

its the best kinda chicken... way better than fire chicken or thunder chicken

seriously though its a 74 roadrunner/gtx they only made 221 of them... how many 72 340 rallyes are floating around?

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

ACUDANUT

72 Rallye chargers are fewer than you think.   IMO they seemed to have made more 73-74 Chargers than any other model year (many more on the road that is).     72 Charger Rallyes are a better one to have in the 3rd generation, except maybe a 71 R/T.  ***Better looks and options.  Just like that green one, with that hot girl standing next to the 71 R/T

HKCharger

did they make more 71 Superbees or 72 Charger Rallyes? Im anxious to see his 71 R/T he is putting up on ebay also.

HKCharger

did some digging, it isnt his personal collection, he is a dealer in viriginia. Here are pics of the 71 R/T that appears to be sold.

HKCharger

more pics of the Orange 71 R/T. It's a #s matching 440 with a Dana and #'s matching 4 speed.

Thanks for the links... lots of eye candy there!

To answer your question:

1971 Super Bee (WM23) = 4325 produced
1971 Charger R/T (WS23) = 2743 produced
1972 Charger Rallye (WH23) = 3431 produced

thank you for the numbers. Whats the difference between the WH23 car and the WL21?

No problem...

WH23 is a Hardtop - quarter windows roll down, up-level trim, wheel lip moldings, etc.
WL21 is a Coupe - fixed quarter windows, base-level trim, etc.

You could get the A57 Rallye Package on either body style.

Awesome 71 R/T. It looks exactly like my first 3rd gen in my pic. If I had kept mine years ago, I would of restored it back to the original blue color. The others also look super.  :drool5:
