Troy, I do not know of a source for a new one but, there is a place in town that will rebuild your old one if you still have it. They will put a new hose on the original metal ends and clean it up. It will not have the Chrysler markings but you can use the original metal ends and it will be like new.    ADDCO on Pinemont is the company.  My friend had is power steering box, and pump rebuilt there and bought new hoses from them and it is a beautiful job. They would have rebuilt the original hoses for him but they had new ones in stock for him and his '69 Roadrunner!
I will probably get them to rebuild my box, pump and hoses as they did a great job on his.

Troy, do you still have the 90-degree brass fitting that goes on the top of the PS gearbox?  I think Tony D'Agostino had a few of those listed on his website if you needed one.  Gotta have that for the hose to work right...

BTW, the car is looking GREAT!!!

Try NAPA.  Around here they will build one from your old hose.  If you're in a bind for the brass 90 degree fitting I may have one lying around.

If you want to know why they call them muscle cars try parallel parking a manual steering four speed hemi.

Geno..
I have the 90 degree fitting, but no hose. I have the Federal Pump with the solid pulley that looks to be the same diameter as all the other pumps on hemi-equipped cars I've come across.. I'm only guessing it's correct for it was with the car when I got it 10+ years ago. I found a pump with hose, but it's a '66 version. Wouldn't you know it, but '68 was a 1-year design. I may not stress out too much since there may be someone else putting her totally back together since I may sell it for a Daytona....
Thanks,, she is coming together rather nicely....  I'll be heading over there today, again............

Hey Carl...
Unfortunately, I have the pump w/pulley and the 90 degree fitting, but no hose.. (  Too bad they can't bend tubing to match pictures.. I've used Adco on Pinemont many times to rebuild my power steering gear boxes.. Nice to know they can do the pumps. I may have to take it over there..........
Who knows, maybe there are some hydraulic shops here in Houston that can fabricate hoses from scratch....

IIRC, there's a Part Number stamped on the center hub/flange that you should be able to check.  I thought there was a difference in the "offset" of the pulley as well as the diameter.  For '69 anyway, a few other engine combinations (B&C bodies with a big-block and the Leece-Neville alternator) used the same pulley so it's at least a little more attainable.  Not sure about '68 though, and I don't have a '68 Parts Book to look up that sort of stuff.

Ah heck, I'm not sure about the offset.... Guess I need to place the crank pulley I have on the dampner and place the pump on as well to make sure things do line up......... I have a parts book,, so I'll check to see if I can make out the part number stamped on the flange.. I'll probably be placed on the back side and I won't be able to see it..  :eek2:

Lee,
I have the special 90 degree fitting and, I think, a proper Federal Hemi pump. I just don't have the high pressure hose...  :'(

Thanks for the offer for the fitting.............

Troy,

I saw two '69 Hemi PS hoses at Carlisle - one a true NOS piece, and the other a generic aftermarket piece.  Both were in Great Lakes NOS' tent, so you might give Gregg a call.  If he had the '69, he might also have the '68.  The aftermarket piece looked pretty nice, and had a much more reasonable price.  Wonder if the aftermarket '69 piece would work anyway...   :scratchchin: :shruggy:
