i assume you are looking at 110 v because you don't have 240 v service at your shop....right? or you just don't have the bigger bucks for a big 240 v model....well, here's an idea....the size and power of the pump are nice, but if you could build up a large enough storage tank arrangement, that might work...use 2 or 3 tanks piped together...your sprayer needs a volume of air at a specific pressure, and you could do that with extra storage. i saw a farmer use a small compressor, and use three tractor tires as a storage bank....then go to work with air tools.

Rene,
I'm guessing you mean 7hp peak horsepower, right.  Most will run in the 3 range(running),
I assume you have reasons for wanting 110 but 220/40 will be more efficient and actually draw more efficient amps.

I really don't think they make a 110 7hp peak 60 gallon pumper but I guess anything is possible.

I would call IR and ask them directly myself.

yea , i don't have 240v . I'm not married to that compressor. thats the one i liked . now I'm just looking for the biggest 110v i can find . i don't have a lot of space for several tanks. so it's gotta be a stand up type .my old compressor is dying . it was made from parts from 3 compressors and it served me well.   :patriot:

mount your extra storage tanks in your rafters, with water drains of course.

Do you have a CENTRAL TRACTOR SUPPLY near you? They have a 60 gallon/110 Volt Ingersoll Rand that doesn't look bad.

The problem with 100V is that they normally don't produce enough CFM to use a DA or paint with.  Even if you add more air storage the compressor will not be able to keep up once the pressure drops.  How hard would it be to put 220 into your garage??

Another idea is to put the compressor close to the power and run air lines to the shop.  Just an idea.

My buddy has one like you are looking for and he does paint with it. He just has to wait for it sometimes. I believe it is from Sears..

Maybe just do a GOOGLE search for one..  :shruggy:  I like my 220V. 80 gal. monster. I got it at Home Depot about 8 years ago when someone was returning it. He used it for a job and then returned it saying it was too noisy or didn't do the job for him or some such non-sense. I helped him get it off his trailer and he told me absolutely nothing was wrong with it.. I grabbed it CHEEEEEEEEAP.. You could check Depot too... :2thumbs:

good idea but practically wont work as the pump would burn up quick trying to keep up to fill up large tank.
Your best bet is to get a 220V model with highest scfm rating

Coming up with 220 power is pretty easy.

you would prolly just need a breaker and some wire.

no matter what type of compressor  you will need a  of  13 cfm  at the very least
