getting a odor of burining antifreeze from under the car about were the x pipe is on my exhaust nothing appears to be coming out of the exhaust no white smoke or anything but  the smell is strong wondering if a bad intake gasket would be giving me this problem .....wich intake (valley pan gaskets do you guys use the most the one with the crossover block  or the other? its a 383 4bbl

Doesn't sound like an intake problem to me. No anitfreeze flows through it like it does on GMs. You may have antifreeze leeking from  an exhaust stud causing the odor.

exahust stud first guess...also check freeze plugs, especially up near starter (dunno why, they seem to go quicker)...after car sits a while, carefully check for drips hanging from bottom of engine :scratchchin:

Agreed, I'd be looking for trails blowing back from exhaust studs and freeze plugs first.
