"I have converted the front grill and the tail lights to a 1969.Its not a bad 1969 Replica.I have owned the car almost 3 years and it has been garage kept.No snow driving or out in the rain,it is well taken care of.It has the same paint job on it as it did when i got the car."

So..my question is; how did he manage to change the tailight panel without painting atleast the backend....

Well chances are when he took the tailight panel, he would of had to atleast do some paint work on the valance and the quarter extensions...

Ok, so .375" of the car doesn't have original (non-original) paint on it and it's hidden behind the bumper. Give the guy a break! Why would the quarter extensions need anything? They are bolt on and have a rubber(ish) gasket. He says the body and interior are rough so who really cares? But hey, at least he didn't drive it in the snow... ;)

I have a couple of spare grills and taillight panels to turn it back into a cool car. :D

Or as I believe they did for the television series, they just filled the 68 taillights holes and cut holes for the 69 taillights.

Im asking $13500.00 OBO I have had a bunch of offers on this car

Yeah, at some point in season 2 they just cut the metal for the 69 lights and put riveted patches to fill the old 68 holes that extended above the lights. Before that they changed the entire tailpanel.

To change the tailpanel all of the seams could be hidden by the quarter extensions and rear bumper making it so he would only need to paint the black section.
