Here it is with new wheels and tires...stayed with the NASCAR theme. I went with 275/60/15s and 255/60/15s. Just a few more small items before I hit the road.  Rick

Very nice! Are you sticking with the small block? If so - good for you. They raced the small block (KB) version after they ruled out the wing cars in 71. If you raced the Daytona or Bird they limited the ci. It is a cool story. It did not last long and most drivers opted for the HEMI vs the Wing cars.

very, very cool .   more pics please .  especially when you get it outside .  Rene
I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

Small block stays. It was a Texas car with air and almost no rust. I replaced trunk floor, welded in sub-frame connectors, dyna-mat, Urethane bushings and a fresh 727. I will replace the air cond. system as soon as money will allow. Right now I am tracking down a turbo system to blow thru the carb. I will make it road ready and drive and save the turbo install for this winter. Thanks for the compliments.
Bye the way, I did some shopping and a local auto-glass company will install a new tinted windshield for $162.
I didn't think that was too bad!     Rick

She looks sweet, looking forward to seeing more pics. I seen that you mentioned that you put P255-60R15's on the front and I wanted to ask if you have plenty of clearance from the suspension and the bellypan when turning the tire? I am thinking about going with 255-60's all the way around but want to make sure they will not rub and also don't want to modify any original sheetmetal to do so. Thanks for the help, enjoy that awsome machine.  :2thumbs:

it would have to be Dick Brooks' #22 car owned by Mario Rossi.

That would kick ass, though!
