Keep seeing this thing on the bay, owner keeps coming down on price. What do you think a fair price is on this car? Nothing special, but looks clean and would make a nice weekend cruiser. Thoughts?

Not in todays market.  3rd Gens are nice, but they don't command the prices that 2nd Gens do and thats a 2nd Gen price.

Is funny to see how ppl thinks the investment should be back in the bank account that easy!!! There is ways to make a good investment to get it back, but IMHO that's not! Wrong cluster ( 74 ) regular panels, fuggly buckets. To get that money maybe I would expect rallye tail lights.

yes maybe more than $20K, but definitelly not close to $30K

Honestly, preffer to spend $30K on a nice 440 original Rallye just needing some TLC, or 71 R/T needing a light resto Job. AND Let me choose the mods I want ( If I do!!!! )

Note: I'm, not saying the car doesn't worth  ;)

wow...that is one heck of a car :drool5: :drool5: i own a 72 so its always so great to see one done well...i think i would pay 20k 4 that (provided i had the money) in a heartbeat...you right nacho, there is something to be said about doing the work yourself, but if we're talking about what we think of the car i think its insane, fully certified insane.  3rd gen 2nd gen nothing...its nice..but your right...its a 2nd gen price...

at the end depends if the mods made on ANY car are what you expected to make on your one and meets your wishes... THEN AND JUST ON THAT MOMENT worth that much since you are saving form the effort, money and build.

However, where is the fun if everything is already done ?

built a car is part of the fun and then ride it!!!!

Nice car. I might give him $19,500 for it. But he has to change that ugly shifter, steering wheel and seats......  :icon_smile_big:
