Change the old speedometer cable today, the old one worked fine but was to long (it's was everywere in the engine compartment :icon_smile_big:). Now when I change to a correct cable the speedometer shows unsteady speed. With the old cable it shows very steady speed.

Is the new cable to much bend somewere?

Thanks!

If all else fails, pull the cable wire out of the housing and cover it in lythium grease along its entire length.  Be generous with the grease.  Then try again to see if it improves.
