I installed all new wiring in my 74 and there's power going to the ignition but it won't send power to the starter.  I have te starter relay hooked up according to this diagram. any ideas?

do you have groud on brown traced wire coming from tranny on P or N ( NSS )?

being a 74... do you have the fasten seatbelts signal when put the key in RUN ? if you do, then you are not getting ground from NSS, so car "assumes"  is geared.

I have a 2-wire plug coming from the tranny that was on the "G" plug when I started, so I put it back there and nothing.

yes you have the wire, but that doesn't mean you have ground there.
