? I dont understand why they didnt carry a spare.

WOuld have had to have been over a 15" wheel and not sure how much the trunk was packed  :shruggy:  Sure seems like a good idea in hind site.... however, dont think on the SHOW bullrun they had any tire issues may have tought the same here?

Mike had problems on the SHOW Bullrun but they cut out the part where he bent a front rim on some pothole someplace in Oregon (IIRC) and had to fill the tire every day.    They did show him filling the tire once or twice maybe.

As for a spare,  it would have probably needed to be at least a 17" wheel to clear Viper brakes.
I'd think some sort of donut type thing would be available.  :shruggy:     But as I alluded to earlier... custom wheels... custom problems.

I looked into the AR kit for the newer Viper stuff and copied this from Mancini site.

Quote17 inch rims will be required to clear the large 13 inch rotors. The hubs in this AR Engineering kit have been designed to work with 17x8 Ford Mustang rims that have 5.72 inches of backspacing and the 2.780 center hole. We recommend part number M-1007-J178 which is the 2001 GT or "Bullitt" rim.

I'm curious what kind of spare a newer Mudstain has  :scratchchin:

I have the older Viper conversion that uses 11.75 Mope rotors... it fits 15" wheels.    I carry a full size spare made up of an older 15x6 Cragar and a used 225/60/15 BFG.

Once again...  not bashing Mike...  just discussing it is all...  Sorry it didn't work out.   :-\

Well what do the 17"mustains use for spares or the like,  I assume the do not have a FULL size spare or none at all?

There must be a way to have a slightly condensed version of a rim that would work in some manner?

I was thinking more about BONNEVILLE. I know that is one of his dreams, but I think he's got to wait until fall for that.

Glad I am not the only one. Talk about "post padding". I feel a restraining order coming on.

The kid laughs at a guy losing a fuel pump, but praises a guy who doesn't carry a spare?  :image_294343:

With the big rim/slim tire look, I'm not sure how much "space saving" a spare could get?  The full size version already looks like a deflated space saver

Cool pictures Ranger Max, I really like the Daytona, I think it looked much better without the graphics (I wouldn't have put a tail stripe on it either), anyways it sucks it's out of the rally. Better luck next time Mike.

Small question though, what's that just above the licence plate of the Audi, a camera?

I'm not too keen on all the advertisements & promotional stickers on all these cars.

I understand their purpose and all but......

I noticed meth stickers all over the gas tank   :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:
