So finaly after a 6 month wait I got my gauges back from redline. And I am nothing but happy with them and thought I would show them off a little.

Very sweet, I see that you went with a volt-meter instead of the amp-meter.

it was about $1200 for the gauge overhaul, volt conversion, and to have all the switches rechromed and serviced.

I could never understand why the white guages either, till we bought our Caravan, which has them. Much, much better than black guages! Why do race cars use white guages? It's actually quite simple...your eye simply focuses on black first. So, what's more important when you glance down, to focus on the speed your actually going, or to focus on the whole background, then try to find the numbers? It works. Try both for awhile each and you'll see.

The white guages are superior in my opinion, but I'm still mixed on them in Mopars though. Can't say I'll never put them in my car, but it still looks a little funny to me... :Twocents:
