My tail lights look funny.  The middle bulb on the drivers side is not bright at all.  Check, and then changed bulb same number bulb, same result.  When pressing the brake all three lights on one lenses is bright, only two on drivers side is bright, with the middle one being not bright at all.  Can someone post what bulbs they use in all the locations.  Maybe bad wiring?  I don't know?

Thanks

You should only have 2 brake lights on each side. The lights on the inside ends should always be the same brightness as the running lights. Having all 3 bulbs on a side work with the brakes tells me there is a problem as the inner running bulbs should be single filament and maintain the lower brightness. The 4 brake lamps will be 1157 dual filament style.

The basic configuration from left to right would be

B    B    R          R     B     B

B- 1157 dual filament

R- Single filament, 67, 89, 97, 1095 all work

Thanks JIm I will check that tomorrow.

My experience with this is that the "replacement" bulbs are incorrect wattage.

If you put them in the inner bulbs are (aka the running lights not the brake lights) a different brightness.

My solution was to buy all the same bulb(the dual filament ones) and cut the contact off for the brake light filament.

My experience is I have a 1095 in the right side and a 67 in the left and nobody can tell the difference between the two when they are on.

67 ---------------- 4 Watts as stated on Mopar catalog but http://www.interlight.biz/moreinfo.int?itemno=67

89 ---------------- 6 Watts as stated on Mopar catalog but http://www.interlight.biz/moreinfo.int?itemno=89

97 ---------------- 9.32 Watts as stated by http://www.interlight.biz/moreinfo.int?itemno=97

1095 ------------- 4 watts as stated on Mopar catalogs but http://www.interlight.biz/moreinfo.int?itemno=1095

Maybe Mopar parts catalog states that based on 12 Volts rate.

Note, I wouldn't use 1095 bulb. Bigger head makes sit closer to lense, able to melt it

The 1095 is the factory correct running tail light bulb for a 1969-1970 Charger.

welll as far I have seen ppl using the smaller ones I thought the smaller were the right ones... sorry. I have seen melted lenses for same reason

then lense is safe from the bulb if that's the factory one
