Thanks Brandon.. But, as eluded to, it's the LL1 Medium Dark Turquoise Poly (doesn't look too dark to me, but compared to the other turquoise, it is). You're right, it does make a big difference with the black... Can't wait to get the chrome surround on with the emblems..

Thanks Dan....

QuoteAre you going to drive this car or Trailer Queen only? Curious
If I do keep her, she will be far from a trailer queen.. I will trailer her to distant shows for I have a family to think about when going to a show, but she'll get her share of local miles for sure.........

Quotehe is going to trade it for a daytona
That's the game plan.. Sell her and the '70 to get a Daytona.. If not the '70, then Dana and the '68 and keep the '70..................

QuoteGreat pics, I love the shot of the inner rear fender shield showing the seals in place.
Thanks... I wanted to make sure as much as possible was positioned before spraying of the undercoating...

This is where the rear valance was attached in the original spots, albeit, the "spot weld" look wasn't reproduced.. One of the many issues I had with Smitty's work prior to bring it here to have it all corrected.......... What makes it not so bad is the bumper will be covering it up.......................  This project has been a classic case of give-n-take in regards to desire to detail and economics on my part...

WAY OFF TOPIC HERE, especially coming from me. But is that a 1953 Chevy Bel Air I see in the building across from where your Charger is Troy?

By the way the car is looking good. I just tend to be one of those weird people who looks as items even in the back ground of pictures.

If you hurry up and finish the car, you'll beat me to getting a Daytona for sure.

I can't see that Danny, which picture are you referring to.... I know there's a 442, Superbee, Cyclone Spoiler and a few others, but I don't see a '53.. He does have two '57's over there now.

The only car I see in 100_7614 other than mine is the yellow 442 convertible behind it outside the other building.. It's about a 68 or 69...

Danny was asking about this car (had to use the scroll bar to find it at first):

BTW, the car is looking GREAT Troy!!!

Were you able to bring it home like you were hoping?

69_500

Yeah that would be the car I was talking about Gene. (looks like the 53 that my father in law has, although his has 54 tail lights on it)

Oh and Troy, like Gene said, did you get to take the car home this weekend as you had planned? if so I'm sure you'll spend all weekend working on it, and not so much time on here posting.

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,  wasn't ready... Seems the air supply got utilized for something else today... Plus, the last thing I want is a painter who feels pressure to finish something............ Sort of contrary to what this adventure is, but this is something on the magnitude of a couple of days versus a couple of years......  :flame:

Here she is today prepped for the undercoating..... I'm sort of disappointed, but very understanding.......
