Unfortunaltly, I won't be able to make it this year either.  My son will be doing two (already did one)  Pittsburgh Penguins Summer Hockey School, and can is getting instruction from the pros, so I had to use my vacation for those, plus save for any other days I will need during the year.  Someone have a Diet Mountain dew for me!

I have decided I am just going to sit in a chair outside the hotel room all night and drink beer. I will have pizza delivered right to my chair and have a nice cooler next to me. Now if I could figure out a bathroom plan, that would complete the tri-fecta.  :scratchchin:

We are at the Quality Inn in Carlisle all night long. Just pull in to the back and look for a bunch of ugly m-fers...that's us.

We will have a table set up for autograph signing from Troy. **Disclaimer**Troy will only sign dc.com officially purchased memorabilia. No baby foreheads or women's breatsteses'.**   :icon_smile_wink:

I plan on doing burnouts in the Daytona....that is if it can smoke 'em????  :shruggy: ;)

If the DC.com tent is going to be up all weekend, what day would be best to drive up for the day?   :scratchchin: ( My first time to the event )
Troy, the t-shirts will be available all weekend, correct?
I plan on driving up on friday but I will change the day to make sure that I get to see some nice chargers.    :2thumbs:

I say Saturday is your best bet. The tent will be up all weekend but there's no guarantee that anyone will be there all the time.

As of 9:21 this morning the t-shirt place still hasn't called for me to approve the test print that they were supposed to have yesterday morning. Actually, the shirts were supposed to be done last Thursday so I don't have a lot of confidence in these guys right now. I checked some other places and no one had enough inventory to print the shirts in time. I'm hoping to have the shirts at Carlisle but that's no guarantee.

We're here already as an advanced party :scope: lets us know i you need anything (Troy you have mail)
- Will we be able to park at/near the tent or do we park in the standard locations assigned and migrate to the tent? I think that kept attendance down a little last year
- Dinner out somwhere Thursday sounds good, we plan to attend that kick off thing from the local club
- We MUST do go carts, Moparsuebear says she'll beat everyone!

y3chargerrt

I'll be in town by thursday afternoon. I plan on attending the kick off show.Dinner after the show sounds like a hit!

Update, We just did a drive-by of the fair grounds and there are already about 30 vendors set up! We drove our rental car up and down the aisles looking at parts...that's something you can't do on Saturday! Saw 5 cars for sale (2 on the for sale lot and 3 with vendors) All the tents seem to be up already as well, and when we were driving off they were setting up the 1968 dealership  :icon_smile_tongue: all very exciting

I'll be there with my new 505 stroker. It will be my first trip in the car with the new powerplant (finished swapping out the TC for the correct unit). I'm leaving Reading Sat at 6AM heading West on the PA turn pike from Lancaster to Carlisle with my buddy and his trailered 68 R/T (copper).

If you see a cherry, green 69 RT (clone) on the side of the PA turnpike, please stop and help.   :'(
