So I'm not going on the tour, but I am going to the stop in Ames IA. I don't have much of a show car, but dammit I've come a long way and I will drag my POS to every show I can get it to. I'm fully prepared for it to be the slowest car on the Power Tour, but it will be one of the coolest bricks there.

Anyways, here are a few pre-wash pics. ENJOY!

My new shoes, vintage plates, and brand spanking new AMD hood. Nothing has been gapped yet, but I liek how it's coming together...

My new for me padded wheel and Stinger center console as well as my recovered seats

Finally the jacket I won't wear until my car is finished. I've been making it specifically for this car. I love vintage patches!

Here are a few of the usual before pics for anyone that hasn't seen em

See you all the show tomorrow!

Cool man...  Your car is looking awesome.  Nice progress.  Those the wheels from my car?

IowaCharger69

Those are the ones! I think I need some spacers for the rear, but I really like the pizza cutter look.

Sorry I don't have any pics of the show. In my rush to get the beast over there I forgot just about everything I needed.

Anyways the next big show is GoodGuys.

I decided that I better try and get it all one color. I decided I'd shoot it's original color back on it and see how I like it.

It didn't turn out that great.
-My compressor broke
-The Gun clogged about five times
-The rental compressor kept tripping the breakers in my house.

But after about 8 hours of crap we managed to get a thin layer of white primer on the car.

Honestly, as I look back at the pics, I do preffer it black :brickwall:. But it was in desperate need of a good priming. The black was really really thin in some areas. At least this way its a bit more protected. I think It will be making a trip to Maaco before winter rolls around :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big:

Better get good at removing overspray now...    ;)

Looks good, but a little bit too refined in white. The black had a sinister look the white makes it look sophisticated. Why didn't you put black primer on instead, where you curious to see how it would look in white?

You did a fine save of the Charger, but it sure looked mean in Black, would have gone for Black primer insted
