Wasn't the car also conceived and designed when Chrysler was still with Daimler?  :shruggy:

Cool car though. Love the black.

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

Too bad Dodge couldn't have done this with the Charger.  Anyhow, one thing I will nitpick about the new Challenger is the fact that it is too big.  It looks like a hippo compared to the original Challenger; however, I would take this over a four door Charger anyday of the week!

I would rather have the 70 Challenger myself. With a 6.1 Hemi, I figured the new one would be faster, but the dealer on the video says it would run the 1/4 mile in 13.5.  Doesn't seem that great for all of the build-up. I think it is very heavy, like 4K pounds or some such. I do like the outside, but looks like most of the inside is that new, cheap looking Dodge interior junk. Give me the 70.

I really like it, I think it is by far the best thing the mopar name sake has put out since the muscle car era, including the verry impressive viper, prowler, cruiser and Charger.

I got to see his collection (which was spread through like 3-4 giant buildings) a couple years ago. It completely blew my mind.
No classic chargers that I remember but he did have a ?green? cuda that was pretty awesome.
And this sweet old firetruck that hauled his motorcycles...
And a jet bike...
And steam cars
And dusenbergs...
And everything else.
