Ground cable

Hi, I suspect I have bad ground to the chassie. My gauges is a little shaky. I dont have any ground cabel from engine to chassie like the one in the attach picture. Is it necesary to have that kind of cable. My car is a 69 charger.

Yes it should be there

It goes from the back of the right side head to the firewall.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Thanks Bill, I see that it mount at the firewall but were on then engine? Is it possible to mount it to the plate wich cover the top of the engine (under the intake).

I will check out your store later.

In my car is more like a wire net or strap, instead a wire itself

I did think that a ground cable would do it for my swaging gauges but when a test to ground from the engine to the firewall it was no diffrense. I give up! Before I have problems with my 520 with shitty Indy heads - now thats fixed (smaller reducers for the external oiling system for the inys). Now I got problem with my electronics AND heating problem! I don't now if I gone  :'( or  :icon_smile_big:

ck the ground thru the dash frame ,as the gauges are grounded thru the frame itself

Alsoo, make sure the screws holding the gauge pod itself should are tight
