I have a 70 Coronet R/T (440), the current carburetor is an aftermarket Holley, I also have an orange ECU box. I am replacing the engine harness with a one I bought from Jack's specificaly for electronic ignition. There isn't a wire for the electric choke on the new harness. The wire on  the old harness appears to have a splice (blue trace yellow wire that also goes to the ECU.  Should I just resplice it as it was on the old harness or did I get the wrong harness. Thanks

use the blue wire as like the old one- guess they don't setup the wire in the replacement harness.

weird... new replacement wires I have seen around are ( on pics posted by members ) with the splice... at least 3rd gens... maybe is a manufacturer deal.

Being a 70 what is with elec regulator and double field alt, just remove a part of the harness tape at electrick choke area, and splice from there, from the blue wire running to alt brush the source to the choke more less like factory did.
