where mounts axle tags ?

what you read. I'm pretty sure the gear ratio tag mounts on the stud/nut with bigger clearance on carrier housing... but what about the sure grip lube tag ? By the moments I used an extra nut to attach on the closer stud to the oil filler hole

suregrip tag is not used on 1969 or later

Didn't know that... I guess because not need for the additive due the cone kind ( borg wagner ) carrier change...

but where should it be mounted on 69s and earliers ? I mounted clutch kind SG

I don't know about '69 but on a' 70 one tag is at 7-8 oclock and the other is at about 4-5 oclock.

suregrip tag is 1968 and older only.(from factory as far as I know )

1969 and later have a orange dash of paint on or beside the filler plug as indentification of sure grip
and regardless of type of sure grip is installed all require the additive

ok, but I'M ADDING the suregrip tag!!! no matter if 68 is the right and last year for it WHERE WAS MOUNTED ? I'm adding no matter the right year was used.

At the end I added a clutch kind unit anyway, what didn't exist either on 74s!

so my question is still the same... where should it be both tags. I'M ASSUMING the ratio tag is on the bigger clearence location for nut at the carrier housing... is that right ? and where should it be the SG tag ?

suregrip tag is about 10 oclock
ratio tag is about 3 oclock on the pumpkin
